Dear friends of StingRay Shields,

We have been listening, learning, thinking and reflecting on this historical global movement, to figure out what’s right versus what’s politically expedient — and what we as a small business with big goals can do to continue to forward the momentum. In order to make a sustained commitment, we have decided to dedicate each upcoming month to supporting a different Black Organization throughout 2020.

For the month of June, every purchase made at StingRay Shields will include a donation to Black & Brown Founders, a woman-focused organization that gives entrepreneurs knowledge, tools and cutting-edge tactics to launch startups without relying on venture capital.

In honor of June's celebration of National PRIDE Month, every purchase made will also include a donation to The National Black Justice Coalition, a civil rights organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and same gender loving (LGBTQ/SGL) people, including people living with HIV/AIDS.

We will continue our donations to Black organizations through the entire year. See the link in our profile for further information and for our calendar of contributions.

We hope you will join us in support of these incredible organizations, and also in transforming that support into a lasting habit.
